Laker Basketball

Let me start by saying that I am a full blooded, hardcore, long time Los Angeles Laker fan.  That being said, I am a very frustrated Laker fan these days.  I love Phil but I Phil like the passion is gone from him.  He is no longer coaching the Lakers! That's right, he is no longer coaching.  Anyone who has seen a recent Laker game tell me... Have you even seen him get up from his seat?  I know about his health problems with his knees and hips and all, but if you can walk into the gym you can stand and argue a call or two, light a fire under your teams butt, fire 'em up by getting a technical foul or two.  He just sits there making bad substitution after bad substitution.  Okay, I get it, Derek Fisher has 5 rings and was ONCE was a mediocre point guard who made an occasional miraculous shot... Now is not the time for loyalty, now is the time for progression and advancement.  Fisher is shooting under 40% this year, averaging a mere 3 assists per game, but still gets about 30 minutes of playing time per game.  Meanwhile, Shannon Brown (arguably one of the most athletic and talented players on the team) averages less than 20 minutes but manages to average higher than Fisher in points, rebounds, steals, and shooting %.  I'm just saying, I'm sure there is a loooooong list of very eligable and capable coaches that would love the opportunity to coach a team like the WORLD CHAMPION LAKERS.... If your passion is gone and you have nothing else to prove but loyalty, step aside and let someone COACH the 3-PEAT WORLD CHAMPS...
